We arrived last night and were given a berth right next to the
showers, fantastic we all rushed off to enjoy having a wash. We also have
washing machines so uncle Dave organized the washing he loves being widow
Twanky!
Last night Bernard's wife Dominique came over to the boat and brought
lots of delicious food, including a large. Box full of chocolate
macaroons, which we are still munching through yummy!!!
We have been on a tour of Paris with Bernard in his car, the
traffic is still bad they need to bring in the congestion charge
like London. WE are setting off in the morning we have 18 locks to
go through until we turn left into the Marne river and up to
EPernay, the champagne area the boys are not keen on champagne so
more for me. WE are still sorting out the boat storage being tight.
You have to have to have a pass for the canals a pass de liberties,
other wise you cannot travel. WE now off the licence and plenty of
grogg and food on board we are off .
