In Tzarevo Bulgaria

A rough passage from Balchik to Tzarevo 81 nm with a stop for fuel in
Sozopol.On arrival in Sozopol we were told they had none and the tanker
would arrive in the next couple of days! We hired a taxi and got 200
litres from the garage and siphoned it into the tank.Enough to get us to
Yalova. We arrived at Border Control at 19.30 and told that we couldn't
check out of Bulgaria until 8am Thursday.Spent the night in the Customs
Quay,checked out of Builgaria at eight and set off for Istanbul. Ten
minutes later we were back! Thunder,Lightening,raining cats and dogs and
nasty sea.Check back into Bulgaria and wait,probably two days for the
weather to improve. The problem with the leg from Tzarevo to the
Bosphorous is that there are no refuges and it is 75 nm to the entry.
Julie has run out of time and flies back home from Burgas tomorrow.We
probably will starve and/or throw one of us over the side! Thanks Julie
for everything,not least for keeping me sane!
