With strong winds forecast for tomorrow, all be it from the South, which would suit, Willi leaves me and Gemini on Tuesday, so wanted to be assured of getting to Fenit by tomorrow morning. We thus set sail at 0650 into variable winds, all too light to sail in until later in our passage. Another day of donking with engine was thus inevitable.

But, yet again, the scenery was stunning, with warm sunshine throughout.

Below is the first hurdle: sailing inside the Blaskets and though a rocky passage with tidal rips, swirling currents etc. Here are the Blaskets on the nose before turning right.

The rocky passage. We got the tide right behind us as we passed through.

We saw a few dolphins again today, diving under the boat, seemingly playing with us.
