Woke up to a beautiful morning in the Helford river, not really wanting to move on. Very little wind and what there was came from the SE. I left at 0800, rounding the Lizard at 1015 with very strong tide (see photos) and then spent the next 3+ hours sailing at 2.5 knots to save diesel, alternating with the engine when the wind died completely.

A glorious day, but not one to sail anywhere fast. Now in Newlyn (1430).
