It’s our final day before we set sail, it’s all feeling quite real now. Craig tuned in to the Skipper’s briefing, giving us details of the start, the finish, weather and communications. Last night we had drinks on the dock with friends we have made over the past few weeks and today has been hectic with final preparations; the hammocks are filled with fresh produce (no scurvy here) and lee cloths are tied on the bunks. We’ve cleaned and cleaned; we are ship shape and as ready as we can be.
