Hi on day 10, things are trucking along nicely with
nothing major to report. We ahve been heading south up to this morning and we
are now running with symmetric kite 10 degrees above our destination
waypoint.
Its really quite warm on board and hard enough to
sleep.
Happy to report we still have'nt run out of
food.
We had some problems with our blog reports so
apologies for the lack of info. It is now sorted
The plan for tonight is for the wind to increase
slightly to 20/25 kn and continue tomorrow from the E with gusts up to
30kn. This should help as we are in a good position to benefit from the stronger
breeze as our course is 287M.
There is general news around of 2 abandoned
yachts in the general area, some of the arc
competitors have had some promlems with breakages such as booms, sails,
chainplates, electric problems etc.
We continue to be vigilant as its as important as
speed in a long event like this.
There is no interest in the on board cinema, I
think there has'nt really been enough time as there is always something to do,
weather downloads, emails, blogs, radio net, domestic affairs and sailing along
with the ongoing tweeking/repairs.
No more fling fish last night.Very warm on deck
even at night, shorts and T shirts only
Will be back tomorrow.
Bye
