We stocked up well on fruit and veg: reminiscent of
"Best of Cream"
We left the marina in LP at around 1130 saying
goodbye to friends and family. Thanks to Anita for the cool
shirts
We crossed a croweded start line at 1300 with
around 25kts of winds. We had an interstinig start due to the enthusiasm of one
scandinavian boat wo might have been better suited to the racing
fleet.
The wind kept up at 25-30 knts from the NE for the
first 14 hours but during the night it seemed to dissapear and
rotate.
Sleep was hit and miss first night out. We stasrted
Monday mornign with comfortable NE winds at ~20Kts. Sunny skies and factor
50.
