Here we are day 4, all settling in to life on board. Genaraly weather is pretty good and the wind fairly constant. We have decided to stay a little north up to now (14.30 UT) and have just gybed onto a more southerly course of 225. It goes against the grain to go too far off the rhumb line so we are running more or less downwind.
There have been a few anxious moments (nothing serious) when the rooky helmsman went a little too far to windward with the kite up, we have lost a winch handle and apart from that no other problems.

Food can only be described as first class, we had leg of lamb with french beans and boiled spuds last night, I think there was a small glass of chianti involved also.

We have done 600 miles so far and the sailing is brilliant. I'd like to thank all the people who helped to get this project off the ground, KD you're a total star along with the super delivery teams, Mike and Kevin on leg 1 and Dan, Andrew, Bairbre and Kevin W for leg 2. Anita and Kitty for the help in Las Palmas.

Good luck to John and Doireann in their exams.

Apologies for the delay in sending the uploads to the blog, we tried to send some photo's (300 k each) but they would not go through. Hopefully we will be more regular in future (including Chris !!)

Will try to send photo of some of the cullinary delights by separate post

Happy Days
