Had a super days sailing today, tried out the new black wonder a symmetric kite bought for downwind sailing on the arc.Our course has kept us northerly to date but the info from the gribs has shown us an opportunity to head S to SW depending on the time. the new kite was excellent and in 25kn apparent we were touching 10.5 kn boat speed in the surf. We are now at 22deg 33min N and continuing at 240M.
The night sailing requires big concentration sailing downwind, (we change to poled out headsail for the dark), as the sea can get quite lumpy quickly not to mention the sneeky squalls that can make life a little testing. One yacht we were communicating with last night has been forced to turn back to the Cape Verde's as they have a problem on board which needs to be sorted before they can continue, hopefully they will get it sorted soon.

Currently 10.15 UT kevin is driving, Tim is having a nap and Chris is awake and probably planning todays gastronomic delights.

Hope the photo came through, it took 12 min to upload so I dont think we will be sending many more photo's.

Next job is to organise the gribs for the next 3 days.

Will be in touch soon,
