Not a lot to report today, just more of the same, strong winds and big seas. We have a steady F6 NNWly blowing and we are on a close reach. That is to say we are not beating against it but have the sheets (ropes that hold the sails) just eased a little which just takes a bit of pressure off the boat and crew, it's still uphill and hard work like the last three days!  The forecast is for the wind to swing behind us tonight which will make life a lot better.

We have achieved a 100 miles a day so far and are about 600 miles from Pwllheli so that gives an ETA of Wednesday, Tuesday if we get a couple  of good days. All depends on how the calm spell followed by the next deep low affects us which is forecast in the next 6 days.
