There’s no such thing as a free sail.

We arrived late at Alicante airport; a quick --though repetitive-- car journey to Torrevieja followed by a couple of ;cleansing ales left the crew and Captain ready for a good night’s sleep.

Before breakfast, I had the pleasure of treating the bimini with a small paintbrush and a large can of Fabsil, weather proofing. Meanwhile.

Finally, at the crack of 11.45 we were ready to set sail, alas the wind had deserted us, so we pushed off under motor.

We arrived, Cartagena, safe at last.

I must sign off now, as I type,  my greedy crew mates (Pete, Jimmy B and Capt’ Greg) are polishing off the free tapas, that has been delivered with our drinks.
