Our visit to Barbuda where there are miles and miles of white sandy
beaches, only sorry to say that with the swell the sand was churning up so the
water was not as clear as should be.
With Clifford our guide who took us to the Frigate Bird colony which is the
largest in the Caribbean, mating was over so there were not many males
displaying, but lots of chicks.
And afterwards while we waited Clifford caught, cooked and then sold us
lobster at $12 EC a pound, (£3.00) We didn’t fancy the land crabs
....
not a problem as he says he fattens them up on corn until
they are so fat they can hardly move and that is the time to eat
them.
