We made our way through the reef today and are in
Port Louis, anchored outside the harbour, had a walk around the town, it is
a lovely place, lots of old Creole housing.
Had our customs visit today! No sooner had we
anchored than the launch came out of the harbour circled a couple of times, took
photographs and then two officers boarded, Took notes of ships papers and
passports and made a phone call, asked if we had anything to declare and when we
said we only had French rum on board they were happy and left. They
ignored the catamaran which was anchoring at the same time maybe because it was
French!
Winds depending we leave for Antigua Friday or
Saturday. As soon as we get a broadband connection we will post
photo's.
