You would have thought that after a rather hectic December we would have been looking for a quiet New Year, not a chance!

We had a fabulous ‘Old Year Party’ at the Phare Bleu Resort, we were Robin & Cheryl and Judy, Just Imagine; Jeffery & Connie, Roxie and Dan & Cindy, Sitatunger.  It was a gala night party with a champagne reception, four course buffet including wines, champagne at midnight, four bands and dancing till 2.00.

3rd January was a double birthday celebration, Joe and Jeffery, we had accepted an invitation to spend a day on a ‘Party Cat” for Joes day and then an evening celebration for Jeffery, follow this on the 5th with January the 6th dinghy Concert from the Phare Bleu, (http://www.lepharebleu.com/movies).  Unfortunate for Sue & Mick but this was the day before they arrived for their two week visit to Grenada.

For my Christmas Chris had given me a day pass to a luxurious Spa Resort where six of us sailing girls (Cheryl, Connie, Cindy,Terri, Judy, and Susan) were to spend the day being pampered, so on the 7th January we headed for ‘High Maintenance Heaven’ as Cindy liked to call it, Spicy Grenadian Body massage and wrap,facial, lunch, Caribbean dance class, aqua aerobics afternoon tea, and then joined by all our husbands for dinner and dancing.  Welcome to Grenada Susan!

The weather wasn’t as kind as it was in December but we made the most of things having moved from Calivigny back to Hartman we did Island Tours, Snorkeling, (Mick if not Susan), Sandy Beaches, Kayaking a sail day on Just Imagine, the two weeks passed much too quickly so back to winter for them and on with life in Grenada for us.
