Hi all. Just a position update. We've spent the
last three weeks in Cuba. Spent some time in Havana etc. Sue will hopefully have
Her story up on the blog soon. To much happened for me to recap with pictures
and stuff from the boat so I'm also looking forward to reading it.
Left Cuba 24hrs ago and we've made good progress
considering the current we're having to deal with. Wind has been pretty constant
ENE 3-4 (10-15kts) but we have about a 1 kt current from the SW. Nevertheless
it's been nice and calm with not much cargo traffic and no fisherman ( because
there are no fish here... been trying since yesterday and NOTHING).
We should reach the Cuban penninsula 10-12 hours
and then we'll be back in the Caribean Sea hopefully that means fish for dinner
tomorrow.
On that note... my watch is now over and i'm going
to bed... 4hrs shut-eye before the next watch starts.
