A Day on Shaya Moya 19:48.39N 22:14.32W

Hi All, This blog has been written by Tony for everybody to read. At the time of
writing we are headed south waiting for “the butter to melt” before heading west
with the trade winds. Amazing to think that not much has changed in four hundred
years. We are about 360 nm off the coast of
Eight Knots and More!!! Don Doing Skipper Stuff
Today Don the skipper called a sudden “Man Over Board” Drill which we all
failed miserably. We did eventually stop the boat to find that we were trailing
a rope which we had picked up and could have been a bit of a problem. This
required “guess who” to get in the water and sort it out. Other events today
included Reece catching another Mahi Mahi , smaller than the first about 4kg.
Unfortunately this one got away whilst we were pulling it in. The quality of the
meals is becoming something of a competition for one cook of the day to out do
the previous one .Talking of competitions we have a daily sweepstake of the
distance travelled in each 24 hr period noon to noon, which I run. There is a
points allocation system. The losers have to buy dinner for the winners in
Jane on the Helm. Dave posing just out the shower Jane has spent the morning doing a bit of washing and then some landscape painting, of guess what sea and sky. As I write the hard work on board goes on: Reece is todays cook and is preparing fajitas. Jane is on the helm doing 8kn. Dave is having a shower and Don is doing lots of skipper stuff. Reece prparing the Fajahitas Me doing this Blog
Best wishes to you all, we hope you are enjoying the blog.
