Friday 8th April:

This morning we fixed the davits and replaced the belt so all was once again in order...except my head. Once we'd had BLTs for breakfast and Sue'd painted her nails we were off again once more. This time to Peter Island for a little diving off the boat and some more snorkelling. It was here that we finally could put a face to Dad's new found VHF friends Mike and Muffie. We went round for drinks and met Rod and Mary. Turns out D almost bought a boat from Rod years ago in Hout Bay and Mike and Muffie also had some other connection with Springs... Small world!

Unfortunately it turns out Mike is not going to be doing Panama this year so we won't chum for the trip... oh well.
