My ‘Star Finder and Identifier’ arrived yesterday, Admiralty publication NP323. This has a few transparent overlays for various latitudes to lay over the star chart. It helps to identify the stars in the sky above in relation to Aeries which is the key star you need to know in order to find the other stars positions. It was overcast last night so haven’t been able to try it out yet. Will try again tonight.
