Making good progress on current heading - holding 6 to 7 knots. We have all found our sea legs and are all settling in to the watch rota.  We are operating three 4hr shifts through the dark and four 3hr shifts through the day; there will be a small change every 4th morning so that we get the chance to buddy up with different folk. Night watch has been cool; we are all wearing warm clothes, but are starting to feel it warming up.

Fishing tackle is being assembled so we are hoping for some fresh tuna for tea. Coq au vin has been taken out of the freezer just in case!! Patrick's top tip is to close sea cock and release holding tank once we have started fishing, but the rest aren't convinced! Whatever we have for tea it will be hard to beat last nights beef bourguignonne.
