We house sat in Kerikeri for 4 weeks over Christmas and New Year which gave time for Rosy's hip to recover, before returning to one of our favourite anchorages in the Kerikeri inlet, with easy access to the shore (Windsor Landing) and a short drive to the town (& golf club!).

Several ex-round-the-world sailors (English, German, US and Kiwis) lived nearby and we were royally entertained.

We made occasional sailing trips along the coast up to the Whangaroa inlet and to the Cavalli Islands, as well as sailing within the Bay of Islands.
