Its been a great week, preparing to leave New Zealand for Tonga with the Island Cruising Association.
34 boats, of all sizes and types, from a 70 foot motor boat, a 60 foot Catamaran, to a 35 foot 40-year-old wood and bronze sailing boat.
We leave tomorrow, Monday, two days past the scheduled date, waiting for the big low to pass over us. We will venture out into the blue ocean on the back of this blow, before the next one arrives.
