Had 5 hours delay from Gatwick due to very bad weather on St. Lucia over christmas.
After very heavy rain for several hours they had a flood on the island and it destroyed parts of the airport, some roads and took away a bridge.
5 people where killed because of the rough weather and even if they are used to tropical storms in this area they haven`t seen anything like this before.
But on Ko-Ko everything was fine and this morning we started to unpack all our gear, sort out things and prepare the boat for World ARC 2014-15, the big circumnavigation, starting here in St. Lucia on the 11th of January.
We are now waiting for our crew, Glenn and Anita, and they will show up here on Monday or Tuesday.
