Light and variable winds are making this a slow trip with hours of motorsailing. Overfalls as a result of the underwater topography result in very lumpy sea conditions at times. Have had rain, thunder and lightening so far.......

Richard caught a huge Mahi Mahi which we have enjoyed for several meals, and we have been amazed by the birdlife, particularly around Las Perlas. Discovered we were towing a long line yesterday, John went over the side to cut us free! Dolphins are frequent visitors and put on a great show for us.

I'm not sure that the Panama blog entry was received at Mailasail, so I will update when we get to Galapagos.

So, all well on board - 548 miles to go!
