After an uneventful night mtoring into10 knots of westerly breeze, we are now crossing Moreton Bay to enter the Brisbane River. We will clear in at Rivergate Marina 5 miles up the river in a couple of hours.
We have a beautiful still, warm day to welcome us home and were greeted by 2 whales with calves and dolphins before entering Moreton Bay.
Graeme will fly back to Hobart tomorrow morning and we will probably move the boat closer to Southport while we are sorting out the boat valuation and completing the importation process (read: paying the fees!).
It's a wonderful feeling to be here finally.
