Our current position is 00.53.72S 89.36.73W we arrived at the tip of San Christobal at about 5.30am having had to slow down during the night to arrive in daylight. We part sailed, sometimes ripping along at 6k and at other times having to motor as the wind was either on the nose or 3k.
We came down the shore so we could sight-see and saw dolphins, seals, turtle and an Iguana on the shore. Arrived at the anchorage in Wreck Bay about 11.00am and was warmly greeted by Northern Rose who had also arranged an agent for us and gave us all the "gen" on services and protocol.
We are now awaiting Carlo the agent who will do his stuff for around $200. Laundry service is available at $1 per kilo and rubbish is taken ashore not collected as the guide book says.
Boat is now being tidied up ropes are secured but we need to drop the dingy as we have an invite for drinks and a meal on Northern Rose. Glen says we are having cat and chips, hope he is joking. Water he says is $3.50 for 5gal (probably US too) so looks like we will be running the water maker a lot but the water is clear and clean looking.

There are lots of bugs here which look like stingy things as they have yellow and black tails like wasps but bigger, not sure if they sting or not. Sea lions are all around us and making a bit of a din.

The coastline is a bit like the Channel Islands, rough and rocky then green areas and white beaches with some unusual rock formations and outcrops.

This afternoon we will be boarded, might be interesting as our paperwork says next stop from Panama, Marquises. Then we both have to go Immigration. Copies of passports are required IN COLOUR for Immigration rest only need black and white.

There are a few boats in here that we recognize Discovery being one, we first met them in St Lucia.
