Sunday Day 15

BARONESS
Jim & Christine Lister
Mon 30 May 2011 05:30
Our position at 8.00am (16.00UTC) was 06.17.19S 119.38.05W COG 255 SOG 5.5k wind 12-15k waves 1-2m.
Last night was bumpy and Jim needed to bring in the genoa to calm things down. I'd had a headache most of the day which really peeked by evening. I was feeling very unwell but the fish pie Jim made was very good. Today has also been hard sailing due to the wind being off the port quarter 90degrees otherwise we will be heading north again. Progress south seems hard and very slow but progress west is ok We have about 9 days to go all being well. We haven't done much, Jim has a line out but nothing so far and he also put the French CD's on the IPod so I have been busy brushing up on my French, I've now only got 9 days to perfect French! We've had blue skies and sunshine most of the day but winds at times of 17k+ we should really have reefed in the genoa but we decided to romp on and put up with the bouncing as we'll slow down when it gets dark and calm things down for the night.
