POSITION 20:49S 174:00W

This morning Hamish was sounding much more rested and relaxed.  They had a much better night with more sleep, and still managed to clock 210 miles in the 24 hours.

They have 47 miles to the waypoint off Tongatapu and were sailing in 20 – 25 knot ENE winds.  .

The crew were highly amused last evening as my text arrived predicting their overnight weather and assumed position.  It happened that they were at that exact moment crossing the dateline, which was where I had guessed them to be.  Drinks were served.

The crew cooked a large dolphin fish for breakfast which they had caught earlier this morning. Smoother seas and the light rain easing off makes it a much more pleasant day. Expected to see some islands within the next 20 miles, and looking forward to dropping the pick
