Arrived in Christiansted St Croix at about 1630 hours and came ashore for a walk around.  Currently sitting in the Deck Bar drinking Pina Coladas and using the free internet.  The kids are checking out about a dozen large Tarpon - mostly over 1100mm long swimming around between the board walk and the bar.  Amazing fish.
The trip over here was quite good - hard on the wind all the way - the boat was doing 8 - 9 knots at 42 deg true wind angle and we made landfall about 6 miles down the coast and motored up here and in through the reef.
The town is very Danish - wandered about the old streets for an hour or so - unfortunately most of the shops were closed.  Slave trade was active till 1803.  Very cute place and more historic than most places we have seen on this side of the Atlantic,
