PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE...That we are not blessed with!
we have added 17 hours to our engine total and burned about 50 litres of diesel in the last 24 hours - for a total mileage of 105.  Those following the math's will see that we have reduced our distance to run by 120 miles - meaning the current added 25% to our total!  just as well it is flowing with us!

highlights today:
Christopher can now tie a bowline
two visits from the dolphins - including one in the middle of the night.  It is quite eerie to hear them surface right next to the cockpit, blow out and then take a quick breath.  in the darkness they are invisible, but once recognised they are lovely to have for company on night watch.
LOTS of school work, including some excellent work on Christopher Columbus
it rained several times this morning and Skippy rushed around cleaning the cockpit and deck (very handy chap he is!)
we finally seem to have some breeze so are sailing along with the code 0 flying and full main.
hamburglars for lunch
Skippy had a dream about shooting the rapids with Oliver and a motorised lifering

guess you could call this a slow news day...
