hello from the Atlantic!
Current speed 7.8 knots, 219deg T
our first 24 hour run was somewhat slow with confused seas and 6 to 12 knots. We did 147 Mies, including 5hrs under motor. Uneventful night, all struggling a bit to settle down, but know we will have our routines sorted by day 3 or 4.

Big surprise this morning when M noticed the boom disconnected from the mast at the gooseneck! All pieces found, and we were soon reconnected and away again. Fortunately conditions were settled at the time.
Oli steered for 2 hours this morning, J for an hour. Seas around half metre. Still in long pants and sweatshirts, looking forward to shorts sometime.
Managing cooking OK, and genset working well and producing power!
Kids happy, have to steer for a turn on computer!
Hello to Skippy's family too, he is fine even if he did get out of bed in a hurry this morning to help reconnect boom to mast!
