POSITION 28:12S 178:18E

 

Hamish advised that the weather had buttoned off yesterday morning.  They were motor-sailing at 7kts in light variable winds overnight. 

Wind has gone to N15 over the last 4-5 hours, some quite big seas still around and light rain.

Nav system shows 460 miles to BOI and estimating 62 – 72 hours from 0900 NZST – i.e. Monday morning ETA

Discussed weather (as usual).  They are racing a change to SW15 early Sunday morning, which will be right on the nose.
