Having spent several days in Cascais marina, which certainly had the best facilities so far but still no marina wifi, we set off for Sines. We had a good sail in spite of the ever present Atlantic swell which is driving us both nuts! It makes even the simplest task incredibly hard work.

Sines is a lovely old town and is the birthplace of Vasco da Gama.

We finally managed to have grilled sardines here in a restaurant where the locals were obviously in competition to see who could eat the most sardines.  They were absolutely delicious but one plateful was definitely enough!
