The 23^rd May dawned overcast with very little wind and a flat sea and we set off for the River Helford. We slipped our mooring under sail at 9:35.  Yet again we put the mackerel line out with the hope that as we were not going so fast we might actually catch something – and lo and behold two mackerel to order!

The weather steadily improved with lots of sun as we approached the Lizard.
