As the weather had improved by the following morning we decided that we would swim ashore before setting off for Serifos and so didn’t set off till  10:30ish. It was only a short sail and so we arrived in time for a late lunch in Ormos Kontala.

The bay that we anchored in was again really quite barren with only a few trees along the shore. We had hoped that the taverna mentioned in the pilot book would be open so that we could go ashore for supper but there was very little sign of life.

There were a few houses along the shore and the ubiquitous little white church.
