We left Astipalia bright and early as we’d planned and headed off to Kos on nearly the last leg of our journey. Sadly writing this note so long after the event I cannot really remember much of the journey but we finally anchored in a little bay called Ormos Kamari.  It was very quiet there with just a few people on the beach – I think that we were the afternoon’s entertainment.  We went ashore to do some shopping but having been told that the butchers was a 20 minute walk up the hill we made do with the little tourist shop which looked as if it was just about to close for the season.
