As we left Salamina we realised that we had failed miserably in that we had taken very few pictures, in particular none of the bay when the sun was shining! Still that’s a good reason to go back!

We didn’t know at the time that Ruth and Peggy had come down and seen us sail out of the bay.  The picture above was taken just as we were setting off and even at that early hour the wind was starting to pick up.  We had a good sail down to Poros but were glad to be tied up in Russian bay on Poros.  It was a beautiful spot and when we eventually managed to get the anchor to dig in and shorelines attached we were able to relax watching a kingfisher on the shore.

We stayed there for 3 nights and were able to go by dinghy down to the quay in Poros town.  It really is a lovely island.
