Yellowdrama dropped anchor at 10:00 GMT on the 20th of Dec
2008 in Simpson Bay. (Local time is 0600 so we went back to bed!
Every new place we have been to has always been an arrival in the
dark!)
We are now waiting to see if we can get into the marina I have
booked for the Christmas period. I booked for tomorrow so we were very
quick by my estimates.
We ran out of fuel in one of the tanks with about 2 hours to
go before we arrived. I spent the next 30 minutes bleeding the diesel so
we could use the remaining 50 litres in the aft tank! Not much fun working
over a really hot engine while the boat rolled about, but got it sorted
out.
All that is left now is to get ashore and try walking on
land more than 57 feet!!
We are all looking forward to going ashore and exploring St
Maarten... especially looking forward to happy hour and eating from a CHINA
plate with a fork and a KNIFE!!
There will be plenty of celebrating tonight!
Thanks to all who took the time to follow us, we hope you
found our blogs interesting and fun!
Bye for now from the Yellowdrama IV "family"
