Here we are still motoring at 5 knots to try to
conserve fuel. This Low pressure is moving North away from us but still
there is no wind! There is however quite a large swell from the North that
manages to flog the Mainsail pretty hard every minute or so!
We will be 185NM short on fuel so the engine goes
off then to save for arriving in St Maarten etc... Hoping for the weather
forcast to come good tomorrow afternoon with 15kts from the SE. We will
see..
NEWS:
The last round of Ice Lollies have gone out and
Sundowners are now on the cards every evening at 5pm local time - all
welcome! Hoping the smell of alcohol will bring that whiff of
wind
The calm nights are resulting in the most amazing
starry nights - we are using our special star book to identify the
constellations. So far we have found the usuals : Plough, Orion's belt and also
Aries, Taurus & Pisces... to name a few amongst the milky way!
Clarissa's new found talent of hairdressing was in
full swing again.. this time the salon opened for a quick trim for
Matt! Another request came in the
form of a moustache trim - but I am afraid the salon only caters for hair above
the eye line!
