What a delightful sound yesterday afternoon to hear the new engine purr into life! We went out in Martinique for a quick trip around the bay to check that all was OK – which it was and then returned to load up on the stores that David & Simon had been off to Carrefour that afternoon to get.

 

After a final pizza in our favourite restaurant in Marin (which for David & Stephen turned into Entrecote grille) we finally left Marin at 0600 this morning for the 190NM trip up to Antigua.  Not much to see as we headed past Martinique and the wonderful beach at Pointe Saline and we are now about 30 NM East of Domenica – sailing in a gentle E wind.

 

Great progress today and managing to keep up a pretty constant 7.5k – although the wind is getting a little lighter as the sun goes down.
