Yesterday lunchtime we had a great snorkel at North Button but it was
rolling somewhat so we had a very leisurely sail downwind between two
heavily wooded islands, rather like a fjord and anchored alongside our
friends from Calabar in a sheltered bay. It was almost dark so saw little
but we had dinner - and as always were early to bed.
This morning we were all over the side early and snorkelling in this
exceptionally clear water. Guido had spotted a large barracuda but must have
frightened it as it was gone by the time I caught up.A great spot with
plenty of fish although nothing is taking our lines and also a fine beach
for a barbecue. Some photos to show as soon as we have internet access.
Back on board for another gentle 3 hour sail back to this spot - definitely
our favourite. Tomorrow it is back to civilisation and check out.
