Our first night at sea passed without incident. We came through the Similans yesterday afternoon and stopped to pick up a mooring for a swim and snorkel off a beautiful sandy beach and prepare dinner before setting sail again. There was little wind and we motored most of the night but by 5am the engine was off and we have continued since then under sail.
Boats on the radio net to the south of us seem to have no wind at all so we are fortunate. The forecast continues to be for light winds. We hope to be in Port Blair sometime on Sunday and are keeping our fingers crossed for fair winds.
