Wednesday 4^th August

We left La Linea at midday after getting some fuel in the next marina and headed out into the beautifully calm Mediterranean.  We hope to get to Cartegena on Friday morning. Lots of big ships were around when we left but they are better than the fishing boats that seem to get irritated by us. Paul recalibrated Simon so he was able to steer us efficiently and we were able to relax. I was hoping to see some whales which are apparently regularly spotted in this area but none appeared unfortunately.  It was so calm we were able to sit at the bow for a while in the evening and watch some slow-moving (ie not leaping and frolicking) dolphins nearby before watching the sunset and having dinner - it’s a hard life J
