It appears that the man overboard we heard of last
night has been rescued
and HMS Lancaster is en route to the yacht to evacuate the casualty for medical
reasons.
Hopefully all will turn out ok. I must say it is a very sobering thought
when you look out at night, particularly as it is pitch black for most of
the night at the moment.
We are being extra vigilant about clipping on now.

This morning I spotted a tear in the UV strip
protecting the Genoa, once again it was sticky back Dacron to the
rescue.
Hanging onto the forestay/furler like this was some
challenge, still it keeps those muscles toned ;-)
I hope there is a good sail repairer in St
Lucia.
