50:22.84 003:35.50 Despite the wind,
rain and the mooring charges - who said Dick Turpin was dead? the River
Dart and Dartmouth is a very beautiful place. We are currently on a
mooring buoy at Dittisham sheltering from the forecast SW 5-7 increasing Gale
8. So we will bve here for a couple of days.
We had a smooth
passage here from Weymouth with flat calm sea and fog! There was
just enough sunlight to have supper in the cockpit - practising for the Med - in
full oilies! We will be here for a couple of days so can catch up on book
reading and tidying up the boat. Sadly I will not be doing the laundry as
the force 8 wind may rob me of too many pairs of knickers (am on a
budget!).
Graham has been playing with the generator - it
does work when it has decent fuel... He is keen to fish and
threatens to get the BBQ out if he catches something. No fear of
that then. Love to all. Gilly
