So. On the road again. I had very little wind when I left on Thursday, and struggled out through the North Tunnel of Chesapeake at 0300. There after I got a breeze & finally collapsed to a wall of sleep at 0900, about 9 miles offshore. Course 045degs. Boat is going fine now that I have 18 knots SE. I'm doing about 5 knots on a broad reach. The seas are less boisterous clopser inshore than in the Gulf Stream, & I hope conditions stay moderate. Bit of a Norther on Sunday I think. I should be in the lee of Conneticut & RI then so reaching east should be OK. Better seas but lots of other boats out here. Am gonna have little sleep again. My heartfelt Thanks to all for the assistance I had while in Norfolk. I'm at a loss for words.
