Ready to go

Here we are anchored in front of the “Bermuda Dinghy Club” ready to start our journey back home early in the morning. We finally got the go ahead from the weather routing service, checked out with the Bermuda Immigration people, done the last minute grocery shopping and bid our farewells to the rally staff and fellow sailors who will also be departing tomorrow towards Europe. It was a bit boring but necessary time in Bermuda; the departure delay did not help. We finally got all the corrected times for the boats. It looks like we beat the two boats that crossed the finish line ahead of us but one boat that finished 12 hours after us had the best corrected time. So that means we have the second best overall corrected time and the best in multihulls. I would say that is not so bad. We are happy and looking forward to a swift passage back home. The rally people gave us a new transponder (we hope that it works) so you should be able to follow our progress through the blue waters with the “Fleet Viewer”...
