28^th September, 2013 – Labuan Bajo, Flores, Indonesia

Two more days sailing then anchored in Labuan Bajo where we were this time surrounded by exotic crafts of all shapes, sizes and colours. A quick visit ashore revealed a large but rather smelly market offering a huge range of good-quality fruit and vegetables and an even-smellier fish market in which children were to be seen playing happily among the discarded fish heads and innards while bored stall-holders stretched out alongside their wares for 40 winks. We stocked up on the fruit and veg but decided we’d rather catch our own fish.
