Star Dancer arrived at Falmouth (Port
Pendennis Marina) at 1735hrs Saturday 26th May.
Jonny joined at Dartmouth and we sailed/motor
sailed the 55 nm to Falmouth with wind mainly on the nose. Some good
sailing in the late afternoon in 18/20kts.
On the outside pontoon with a NE gale force wind
blowing us onto Sea Spine - a Southerly 135 also competing in the AZAB!
Many other AZAB boats around us.
Plymouth shipping forecast at 1300 is up to Storm
10 - we have a cruise ship - Saga Rose - storm bound nearby.
No worries - it will be better by race start next
Saturday (fingers crossed!)
Mark has caught the train back to the Isle of Wight
and Jen arrives by train this evening.
Jonny and I are off to the Maritime
Museum.
