Brendan arrived at 16h and unpacked having brought some last minute additions for our journey.  Brendan and Gabby went to the ARC Sundowner and then joined Neil and Anne at the Skippers' Dinner where we sat with some Australians (Patricia and her cousin Patricia and their partners), Cecile an ARC representative from Norway (an electrician when not sailing), Tom from near Glasgow, and Chris, ARC Safety, who had been involved in running the Fastnet Race and twice spent 5 days in the Fastnet Lighthouse monitoring the yachts as they went round.  Fascinating tales!  Chatted to Klaus and Angela of Slepinir about their preparations and cooking.  Brendan and Gabby then went on to the 60's Wig Party...
