Gabby spent the day in a series of seminars ranging from managing emergencies (loss of rudder/rig/power), rigging check, weather, provisioning food and drink for 3 weeks at sea. Neil and Anne visited one of the largest meat wholesalers and ordered the meat which they will deep freeze to -18*C and deliver to the boat the day before we leave. We've no freezer but deep frozen leg of lamb, chunks of beef and pork in the bottom of the fridge will keep it cold enough to prevent our food from spoiling, at least in the first two weeks. We'll be down to tinned and dried stuff during the final week and therefore dreaming of the fresh fruit and vegetables we'll be able to eat in St Lucia!
